Feb 27 2025 | Marty Garbus and Steven Donziger: We have witnessed transgressions of Greenpeace’s fair trial rights.

We have witnessed all sorts of flagrant transgressions of Greenpeace’s fair trial rights, including severe restrictions on public access and the sealing of critically important evidence. Every member of the jury appears to either work in or have ties to the oil and gas industry; there is no Native American or person of color on the jury. It is our consensus view as monitors that Greenpeace simply cannot get a fair trial in this county.
